Right, it’s been a while since I updated the site with some worthy news from the Bowen’s. Not that I have much for you now, but anyway.

The UK home office have finally taken our money for our naturalization, which is a good thing. I guess that means the ‘payoff’ has worked and some corrupt official will be giving us our naturalization soon. It’s been about 2 months so hopefully we will have it soon. then we are finally British…. and then we can think about claiming every benefit under the sun, travelling the world.. hahaha!!!

We’ve got a couple more weeks to wait for our little kitten. Apparently he is doing well. We should have him in 3-4 weeks. Our other cat is still getting sick all over the place. Last night was no exception. I think she puked about seven times.

If you have been reading from my Media Centre page (see the link at the top of the page), then you will know we have purchased a new 32" Toshiba LCD TV from John Lewis. They phoned me yesterday and told me we can fetch it on Saturday. I can’t wait to hook it all up. I am not quite sure what we are going to do with our old TV (Philips 28" CRT). It weighs an absolute ton, and is huge. Does anyone want it? (nothing wrong with it… honest!!!). We will even throw in a Philips VCR and Philips DVD player. (your comments on the bottom of this post will do).

We got the Humax PVR 9200T on Tuesday and all I can say is Wow!, it is absolutely brilliant. I don’t know how we survived with our wonderful VCR for so long. This is definitely the future of media, recording everything to hard disk.

How about I swap my Hitachi 28″ TV, VCR & DVD – Surround sound system at the same time? 😉

Ha Ha Ha! – No! – I don’t want it, but how about bringing your car over on the weekend, and you can lug my tv, vcr and dvd away.
