First proper snowfall for the year

We started our walk at the Bletchingley golf course and made our way to Place farm, then up the steep hill to Hextalls Lane, which took us past some amazing properties. At the top of the hill, we turned right onto Gravelly Hill and walked towards Caterham Viewpoint, which overlooks the M25 towards the South and Godstone. Then we took a path down and across the M25, through some fields and ended up at the back end of Godstone village. Once there we visited the Coughlans Bakery and enjoyed a pastry next to the frozen pond. We then explored Bay Pond, which was also frozen and walked towards St Mary’s Chapel. From there we walked down Church Lane, crossed Eastbourne Road and into The Enterdent, which took us past some lovely farms and eventually we came out at Tillburstow Hill Road. We then crossed through a lot of farms and made our way back to Bletchingley.

There were some very dodgy, frozen paths we crossed and here is one such example.
