Our second Parkrun at Reigate Priory was a much better performance. We dressed a lot lighter and didn’t carry a backpack or wear long pants, hiking boots or a jacket, just some running gear. The weather was also a lot warmer than the previous week and there were a lot more people this time around.

I decided to jog a bit of the course (mostly the uphills), which was not a great idea, as my knees were not quite ready for the pain. However, it did help my overall time as I completed the course in just under 40 minutes, which was 7 minutes faster than I did last week (personal best). Jo didn’t run, but walked a lot faster as well and completed the course 4 minutes faster than last week (personal best).
